Managing Smart Heating Controls
Setting up instructions:
1. Send a message with your Name, House/Room no. and email address to 07453747137.
You will receive an email invitation from Tado to install the app on your smartphone and join the “Home”.
2. Use the app, not the browser, to create your own heating schedule by using the orange room button on the main menu.
3. Click the schedule option.
4. You can adjust the "Home" schedule freely according to your own needs.
5. Exit back to the main menu and click on the “Settings” option.
6. Click on “Geofencing”
7. Activate device location – make sure your phone allows access to device location at all times.
Important: This is the main feature that will allow you to save energy when you're away, so that you can enjoy more comfort when you are at home. If set correctly, the system will turn down the radiator when you leave home and start heating back to your scheduled temperature before you get back.
8. You can adjust the temperature on the manual dial or in the app. The temporary setting will hold for an hour before reverting to regular schedule.
9. You can resume the normal schedule at any time
10. If you are experiencing any issue with the system, if it is not set or not performing as expected, please get in touch with management.

Heating Policy:

In order for the automated system to work as intended, you must agree to share your location with the app at all times, and only change settings as indicated in this set of instructions.

If you do not agree to the above, the heating will revert to the standard set temperature ( 21 degrees Celsius at all times ).

Electric heaters are not allowed in our property, these are considered an unacceptable fire hazard and a breach of our insurance policy; Heating blankets are acceptable;

Removal or modifications to the hardware equipment in our property without consent or instruction from management is strictly prohibited.
